He is angry that many ladies usually say they can't live in Lagos and be dating a guy who lives in another state in Nigeria, claiming that the LONG distance will affect their relationship. But if the guy is based in the US, the same ladies will be ready to date him.

The moral of the gist is that many ladies in the big cities are in a relationship for the financial benefits, not just a thing called LOVE.
