Yvonne Nelson becomes first Ghanaian celebrity to get verified on Instagram

Ghanaian actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson has become the first female Ghanaian celebrity to get verified on online mobile photo/Video sharing social networking service, Instagram, beating other top fellow country celebs like Van Vicker, John Dumelo, Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah and Sarkodie.

The actress, who celebrated her 30th birthday last week Thursday, November 12, currently has 849k followers on Instagram. Yvonne joins the growing list of African entertainers who have gotten Instagram verification, which includes Genevieve Nnaji, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Diamond Platnumz and recently Don Jazzy.
