Imam’s Son Marries A Girl Who Embraced Islam (Photo)

Mr. Shaaban Bukhari, Dy. Imam of Jamia Masjid, Delhi who is the son of Shahi Imam, Syed Ahmed Bukhari married a Hindu girl. The senior Bukhari was initially against this marriage but when the girl embraced Islam he agreed to it. The couple knew each other for the past two years.

A simple wedding ceremony was held in Jamia Masjid of New Delhi which was attended by close relatives of Bukhari family. The girl belongs to Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.



It is a case of love marriage. It is reported that the newly-wed bride is learning Quran. Mr. Shaaban Bukhari is doing bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Amity University.
