He was attacked and killed by four armed men who gained entry into his girlfriend’s house in Vosloorus, south of Johannesburg.

He was bound to one of South Africa’s most recognised clubs, Orlando Pirates FC by contract, had played in all of South Africa’s four Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers so far.
