The music producer and occasional singer who is also the undisputed King of the social media in Nigeria was recently named by Forbes as the "second most bankable/richest artistes in Africa," after Akon. This caps a list of accolades that has come Donjazzy's way.

At some point, Nigeria's former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, claimed that he was "not as rich as Don Jazzy". These are, indeed, good times for Don Baba. His split from long-time friend D'banj seems to have paid off as Don Jazzy now has more endorsements than when he sat atop record label MO 'hits.

Artistes like D'banj, Dr SID, Wande Coal, D'Prince, Darey, Naeto C, 9ice, Sauce Kid, Ikechukwu and Tiwa Savage have Don Jazzy to thank for the huge success of their singles. Even Jay-Z and Kanye West are not immune to the Don's catchy beats, as he collaborated with them on the production of Lift Off, featuring Beyoncé, on their joint album Watch the Throne, released on August 8, 2011.
