Court grants man N200,000 bail for stealing N1,500
A 25-year-old man, Awalu Usman, who allegedly stole a wallet containing N
1, 500, was on Wednesday arraigned before an Upper Area Court in
Gwagwalada.
Usman of Angwan Dodo in Gwagwalada is facing a two-count of criminal trespass and theft.
The prosecutor, Mr Abdullahi Tanko said the accused criminally trespassed into the room of one Okoro Okoro and stole his wallet containing N1, 500.
He said that during police investigation the wallet was found in his possession.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Judge, Alhaji Alhassan Kusherki, granted him bail in the sum of N200, 000 with a surety in like sum.
He adjourned the case till April 19 for hearing.
