500 dismissed army recruits in Ghana threaten to join ISIS and Boko Haram if they are not recalled

500 Ghanaian army recruits who were sacked last year for alleged insubordination at a parade have threatened to join terrorists groups if they are not recalled. They said they have received offers from extremist groups and will be voiced to join if the government does not look into their case.

Their spokesperson Frank Antwi said:

"We have been contacted by Militant groups ISIS and Boko Haram through voice note that they heard our story online and are ready to assist us. But we are hoping that authorities re-visit our issue and find the real culprits of the incident that led to our dismissal".
