Nkiru Sylvanus

Nollywood Actress Nkiru Sylvanus has delivered a bouncing baby boy in the capital city of Enugu. She has stayed out of the limelight to hide the secret in fear of what the public might think.

As we gathered from our sources, we were told that the man responsible for her pregnancy was her lover “secret husband” Mallam Umar Sani, the vice president’s spokeman. We would have told you more on the story but we have decided to keep mute since this is the 1st of April, 2013 and we all know what that means.  april fool.

Police, SSS parade Nkiru Silvanus’ alleged kidnappers

Kidnappers

ABUJA — Alleged kidnappers of Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus, were yesterday paraded by the State Security Service, SSS, in Abuja.

The actress, an aide to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, was kidnapped in Owerri, Imo State, with the gang allegedly led by a police officer dismissed from the mobile police unit.

She was kidnapped along with two men, Uche Okoli and Kenneth Okoli, at Nworie Street, Akanchawa roundabout area of the state by three gunmen, and were kept in the bush around Avu junction for six days.

They were released on December 21, 2012, after payment of N8 million ransom.

The gang members, six in number, admitted carrying out several other kidnap operations getting ransom payments of N1.9 million, N3 million and N1.5 respectively.

The paraded men include Ndidi Cletus, also known as Matthew Ofurum; Stanley Asouna; Aminu Musa; Muhammed Abubakar; Obinna Okolisa and Samson Onwuka.

Leader of the gang, Ndidi Cletus, 30, is a former mobile police constable who was dismissed in 2007. He confessed to joining the police in 2004 with the name, Matthew Ofurum.

Other members of the gang include Musa, 40, said to be a cattle trader and battery charger from Taraba State; Abubakar, 34, a cattle rearer from Nasarawa State, and Okwolisa, a trader and Keke NAPEP operator.

Presidential aide denies marrying actress Nkiru Sylvanus

The photo that sparked the wedding rumour

When I read the story online this morning I called someone close to the actress to confirm and he said the story was 100% false, so I left it alone. Nkiru, according to the report, married the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Umar Sani, as second wife just a week after she was released by kidnappers. The report also claimed it was Mallam Sani that paid the N8million ransom money. Another false report.

Mallam Umar Sani has reacted to the report, calling it ridiculous and a figment of the writer’s imagination.
“The report is very funny. How can you marry somebody you have not seen for over three months? The last time I saw her was in September so how can a marriage take place when the subject matters have not seen each other? I have not married Nkiru Sylvanus and if a wedding of such took place, people should be able to name the place, date and time. It is not true”. He told reporters at the Presidential Villa in Abuja this evening..

Kidnappers Use R*pe to Force Nollywood Actress To Pay Ransom

Fresh facts are emerging with regards to the kidnap of Nkiru Sylvanus:
“Initially, the family paid N7million to the kidnappers and the police who laid ambush swooped on them at the point of collection and recovered the money that was locked in the trunk of their car as they escaped...
“After we returned the money to the family, they went behind us and paid N8milliom to the kidnappers. Surprisingly I saw Nkiru in my office after she was released, and I was told they paid N8million to secure her release”.
Those were the words of the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Baba Adisa Bolanta, while frowning at the decision of the actress' family to pay ransom to her kidnappers against police warnings.

However, from what credible sources told newsmen, the Police boss didn't really understand Nkiru's predicament in the hands of her abductors. They said her family was forced to defy the police and pay ransom to the kidnappers "when the issue of rape came in".

The kidnappers allegedly "tampered" with Nkiru and even threatened her family that they would impregnate her if the ransom was not paid "immediately". At this stage, the sources told newsmen, the actress family was no longer sure the Police could rescue her unhurt, hence they paid N8million.

At the moment only a few persons know about the r*pe angle of the kidnap saga.

Actress Nkiru Sylvanus loses her appointment as special assistant to Imo State Gov

I heard from very reliable sources that actress Nkiru Sylvanus has lost her appointment as the special assistant to governor Rochas Okorocha on Lagos Matters. Yes, there's a position like that! :-)

The Abia state born actress had been battling several people since her appointment last year, who felt  she didn't deserve the position as a non-Imo state indigene and also because they felt the appointment was meaningless and unnecessary as they didn't understand her job specification.

They also felt she got the appointment because of her 'friendship' with the governor and not because she knew anything about running a public office. These people worked tirelessly to get her out of government house, and if what I'm hearing is correct, they've succeeded.
