LAGBAJA LOSES DAD


Nigerian musician, Bisade Ologunde better known as the masked saxophonist Lagbaja, has lost his father Deacon D.A. Olugunde.

Sources say Deacon Ologunde, a retired civil servant who served in the cabinet of the first military administrator of Kwara State, Col. David Bamigboye died on June 9, 2012 in Ilorin, Kwara. He was 83 years old.

Until his death, the late Ologunde is said to have been the Head of Deaconate at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sabo-Oke, Ilorin.

Lagbaja Tackles Nigeria’s Corrupt Leaders


The masked man believes we all are aware of the debilitating issues confronting us as a nation. It is easy to point accusing fingers at others as the cause of our woes. It is always other people's fault. Never myself.

That is our prevalent attitude. (Listen to the Song below) The leaders are our easiest targets. But these leaders emerge from amongst us. They are reflective of the true nature of our society.

It is quite apparent that in some way, everyone is contributing to the pervasive rot. For us to emerge from the ills threatening to submerge us as a nation, we need to be truthful to ourselves and honestly examine our roles.
