2face, Davido, Ice Prince to star in MTV Africa Tour

Top Nigerian musicians: 2face, Davido, Ice prince and Professor, are set to rock fans at the MTV Africa All-Star tour which will take place on April 13 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, the music channel revealed in a statement.
The tour, an MTV initiative, is a new pan-African music and youth empowerment campaign aimed at extolling the quality and widespread appeal of contemporary African music; and also provides exposure to the continent’s talent in music.
The initiative also aims to raise the international profile of KwaZulu-Natal, the backbone of the tour, as a premier destination for tourism and economic development.
With successful preview editions of the MTV Africa All Stars Tour in Nairobi-Kenya and Durban, the star tour will cumulate in the inaugural MTV Africa All Stars Concert in Durban, South Africa on May 18. The ultimate show will be headlined by American entertainment icon, Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg, at the Moses Mabhida stadium, in Durban.

Ice Prince, Omawunmi, Majid Michel on Set of Yvonne Nelson's New Movie (PHOTOS)

The two music stars are currently shooting a movie produced by Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson titled House of Gold.

This will be Ice Prince's first movie feature and it's about a rich polygamist who has just six weeks to live, and all the craziness that happens when he calls all his children, most of whom were born out of wedlock, back home. The movie also features Majid Michel, Eddie Watson and Mercy Chinwo. See more photos below....

Ice Prince Beats D'Banj, Wizkid In Ghana


Up and coming Nigerian rapper, Panshak Zamani popularly called Ice Prince, has added another feather to his cap, Todaysgist.com can report.

Ice Prince was made the African Act of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held in Ghana yesterday.

Ice Prince was honour with the award yesterday after performing with other Choc Boys' artistes; MI and Brymo at the event.

He beat the likes of Naeto C, Duncan Mighty, D’banj, Cabo Snoop and Wizkid to win the award.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was held at Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre. The awards ceremony was well attended by top Ghanaian celebrities.

Ice Prince, others storm London

Come Sunday, 29th January, some of Nigeria’s A-list artistes will be taking London by storm. Showtime gathered this when we stumbled on one of Chocolate City idol, Prince’s tweets on social network, Twitter.

According to his tweet, he and other Chocolate City guys will be having a live stage appearance at Indigo O2 Arena, London.

IcePrince’s entrant into the Nigerian music circle took lovers of entertainment by storm. His debut singles, Oleku and Super Star, were instant hits, shooting him up like the stars.

Signed on Chocolate City, a record label with the likes of M.I, Brymo and Jesses Jags, Ice Prince distinguishes himself through his kind of music. And only last year October, his debut album, Everybody Loves Ice Prince was dropped.
