90-Year-Old Former U.S Senator, Harris Wofford Set To Marry His 40-Year-Old Gay Lover

Harris Wofford has revealed he is set to wed his male partner, Matthew Charlton, after finding love again 20 years after he lost his wife, Clare Lindgren, to leukemia.


Wofford, a Pennsylvania senator from 1991 to 1995 and an adviser to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., married Clare in 1948 and they went on to have three children together.
