There has been speculation about Beyonce being courted to become a judge on X-Factor . It’s just a rumour.
The show’s producer, Simon Cowell said in a recent interview, ‘I read it online that I offered her $100 million a year. It’s complete nonsense.’
The blunt Brit further added that he has ‘no idea where the rumour came from.’
Although there have been insinuations that ‘X-Factor’ is not really a success, the American Idol judge admitted that it was because he set the bar too high.
‘It’s only because I opened my big mouth and said we were going to get 20 million (viewers), if I hadn’t said that, everybody would be saying the show was a huge success’, Cowell said.
