In late 2012, a romance rumour between 'small but mighty' singer, Chidinma Ekile of MTN Project Fame and Adams Ibrahim of Soundcity TV, spread like a harmattan fire. 

So rife was the reported romance that many even speculated that it would lead to marriage with the way it was going.

Even as the reports were getting heated, both parties involved in the rumoured relationship kept sealed lips on the issue. While Chidinma has continued to face her profession as a singer, Adams is making waves as a top TV presenter. 

Speaking recently in an interview with STV Lagos, the singer debunked the rumour of a romantic relationship between her and the former Next Movie Star contestant, Adams.

She said nothing went on between the two of them as reported in the media. Chidinma said she decided to keep calm on the issue for a long time because she was enjoying the hype the news was giving her.

“I am getting used to such news, it is part of the job, but nothing of such happened between us,” the former MTN Project Fame winner said on Entertainment Weekly show on STV.

Comic Actor, Saka Dumps Etisalat for MTN

News going about town now had it that popular comic actor, Hafiz Oyetoro best known as Saka, has dumped  Etisalat.

The multiple award winning actor has now pitched his tent with South Africa's network provider called MTN.

Saka has been on the payroll of Etisalat for over two years until his new romance with MTN. No concrete reason was gathered for the switch but it is being speculated that MTN may have offered Saka more money than what Etisalat had offered him.

He has already shot a TV commercial for MTN.

Lauryn Hill has 2weeks to pay half a million dollars or go to jail

Lauryn Hill was a sensational singer and one time member of hiphop group, the Fugees and  have won 5 grammy award. Sad situation for an iconic singer like her to be in, but that's her reality. Lauryn Hill was scheduled to be sentenced yesterday Monday April 22nd after pleading guilty on tax evasion charges for failing to report $1.8 million in income.

At her sentencing yesterday, the mother of 6 was given two weeks to come up with $504,000 or face up to two and a half years in prison. She has up until May 6 to produce the money. Beyonce and Jay Z, please come to her aid.
