Hit-Maker D’Tunes Parts Ways With Iyanya, Sets Up Record Label

alented music producer and hit-maker Adesanya Doyinsola better known as D’Tunes has parted ways with pop singer Iyanya and his record label Made Men Music Group (MMMG) after working with the label for over three years.

D’Tunes is credited for making three of Iyanya’s biggest hits off his second album ‘Iyanya Vs Desire‘ – the smash hit ‘Kukere‘, the follow up banger ‘Ur waist‘ and the third single ‘Flavour‘.

No reasons have been given by both camps but D’Tunes through his reps says he’s moving on to other tasks to accomplish as his work with MMMG is a glaring success.

Already, the NIIT graduate has set up his own production and record label outfit called Difference Entertainment and he’s signed R&B-Pop singer Sean Tizzle. Sean was up till recently a member of

Sound Sultan’s music ensemble Naija Ninja.
Iyanya’s MMMG still fields two other artistes – the pop singer Emma Nyra and vocalist Bassy Okon.

2face Idibia Lands On No.1 As MTV Base Debuts First Ever Official Naija Top 10

DJ Jimmy JATT on the MTV Official Naija Top 10 with Ehiz

2face Idibia is riding high at number 1 in the first ever Official Naija Top 10, the definitive new chart of Nigerian contemporary music created by music authority MTV Base.

2Face’s top place in the inaugural chart – for ‘Ihe Neme‘ – was revealed on The Official Naija Top 10, the weekly countdown which premiered on the MTV Base block on NTA on March 8.

Close on 2Face’s heels were Psquare with ‘Alingo‘ while Ice Prince‘s ‘More‘ clocked in at number 3.  Other artists featuring in the top 10 included Banky W, Iyanya, Burna Boy and the late Goldie, with ‘Skibobo‘.
