Willow Smith, 11, Shows Off New Tongue Piercing — Too Young?

Some 11-year-old girls are begging their parents to get their ears pierced, but not Willow Smith. In fact, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's preteen daughter already appears to have a tongue piercing!

The precocious "Whip My Hair" singer showed off her silver stud in an Instagram photo posted this weekend. The friend pictured with her, however, posted a similar Instagram photo of the two girls with the hashtags "#fake #dontjudge #justhavingfun"

So what do Willow's famous 'rents think about her edgy new hardware—real or fake?

Based on an interview Dad gave with Parade magazine last month (and the fact that in the state of California, Willow would have to have her parents' permission to get a piercing), we think they're OK with it.

"When you have a little girl, it's like how can you teach her that you're in control of her body? If I teach her that I'm in charge of whether or not she can touch her hair, she's going to replace me with some other man when she goes out in the world," he explained.

"She can't cut my hair but that's her hair. She has got to have command of her body," he added. "So when she goes out into the world, she's going out with a command that is hers. She is used to making those decisions herself. We try to keep giving them those decisions until they can hold the full weight of their lives."

Willow Smith, 11, shaves her head completely bald

Aspiring pop star Willow Smith will certainly not be whipping her hair any time soon.

For the 11-year-old singer made the bold decision to shave her head and post a picture of the results on the internet.

Goodness knows what her superstar father Will Smith will make of his daughters outrageous new look.

But without her long locks she certainly looks more like her father Will than her mother Jada Pinkett Smith.

The youngster also decided to show off her love of ballet by posting further pictures on WhoSay, which styles itself as a social network service for VIPs and celebrities.

She posed for a picture where she sat on a chair in a dance studio, while in another she shows off her golden ballet shoes.

Willow, who is yet to have a top-ten hit in the US, with her last single 21st Century Girl scraping in at 99 in the Billboard charts, describes herself as an actor and musician in her profile.

Her first song Whip My Hair did significantly better, reaching the number 11 spot and she will be a guest spot from Nicki Minaj can help her upcoming track perform well.

The True Jackson, VP star is also getting ready to appear in a movie adaptation of comic book series Amulet with her brother Jaden.
