American Singers, Ja Rule, Ashanti storm Warri on Oct. 1

American rap star Ja Rule, and R&B singer Ashanti, would thrilled their Nigerian fans as part of an event to mark this year’s Independence celebration.

The show, tagged: ‘Warri Again: The Flagship’, is scheduled for Oct. 1 in Warri, according to Nigeriafilms.com.
It will be recalled that a duet entitled ‘Always On Time’, by both artistes set the music scene on fire years ago; they may rekindle the energy that song oozed years back.

They will be supported by some Nigerian music stars, including Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Yemi Alade, Dr Sid, Daddy Showkey, Flavour and Oritsefemi.

`Warri Again’ is a show aimed at rebranding Warri and making it a destination for entertainment.

Rapper Ja Rule gained freedom after two years in prison



US rapper Ja Rule has been released from prison, after spending almost two years in prison for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion. Ja Rule was released from Ray Brook Federal Prison in New York today Tuesday May 6th but will remain on home confinement until July 28th.

Ja Rule was sentenced to two years in prison for attempted criminal possession of a weapon and 28 months for tax evasion. He served both sentences concurrently.
