Nigerian on death row in Indonesia sends final message to lover

A Nigerian awaiting  execution in Indonesia for drug smuggling has written a heart-rending letter to  his lover to bid her a final bye.
Raheem Agbaje-Salami, 42, was moved  on Wednesday to  an island off the southern coast of Java where he is  due to be executed with nine other inmates this month.
He had been held in a prison in East Java.
Agbaje-Salami in the letter to his Indonesian girlfriend, Angela Intan, asked her to be strong and have faith in God.
“I want to thank and say goodbye to my beloved sweetheart, Angela Intan, who has stood beside me through happiness and sadness,” he said.
“Thank you for everything, for the time we spent together. Knowing and loving you has been a gift and even though it was only for a short time it has had a deep meaning in my life.”
Agbaje-Salami was sentenced to death for trying to smuggle heroin into Indonesia.
He is to be executed alongside nine other convicts from Australia, the Philippines, Brazil, France, Ghana and Indonesia
Their  requests for presidential clemency were rejected.
The United Nations  human rights office yesterday  asked  Indonesia to refrain from proceeding with the execution, saying that the death penalty won’t stop narcotics trafficking.
The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights said: “There is no evidence that the death penalty deters drug crimes.”

Somehow while in  the process of mixing the acid the liquid poured on the ground and she was surprised by what she saw as the acid ate up the rug in her room.

She then decided to try it on other things and to her surprise it was the same as the corrosive nature of the acid woke her up to the reality that she would have died instantly if she had followed the instructions of the fake prophet. Curiously, when  she called one of them to find out why they had to do that to her the reply she got was a question wondering if she was still alive as she was expected to be dead.

He moved out of the house and took up residence with another lady in Accra, Ghana which has been his home for the past six months.  All entreaties by family members for Philips to return home were rebuffed; he wanted his name on the deed or no marriage. For three months, Ini Edo did not set her eyes on her husband and he had started flaunting his new girlfriend to spite Ini. Scheduled appointments by her father in-law to resolve the issue amicably were rebuffed by Philips and ini was shocked.

“There is no truth to the story that was peddled that Ini Edo was involved in extra-marital affairs. It was Philips who actually did not respect the sanctity of his marital vows. While still legally married, he left his matrimonial home and moved in with  another lady in Ghana”.

When contacted about the story, Ini told vanguard reporters , “Ekerete, you were there when we started dating and eventually got married. Does anything that has been written about me, remotely resembles who and what I am about? I wish Philips the best in life”, she said.

Guinness World Records Day 2014 brings World's Tallest and Shortest Men together

Life gives us alot of choices and variety, this is same in human beigns. Guinness World Records Day 2014, was held yesterday and the world's tallest man and the worlds shortest man met for the very first time in London!

Sultan Kösen, a 31-year-old farmer from Turkey who stands 8-foot-9, became the world's talent living man in 2009 per Guinness World Records, taking the title from China's Xi Shun, who stood 7-foot-9.

As for the shortest man ever? Chandra Dangi, a 71-year-old from Nepal, stands just 21.5 inches tall, which, according to Guinness, makes him about the same size as six stacked cans of baked beans. Chandra is the shortest adult human ever to have had their height verified by Guinness World Records, beating a benchmark set by the late Gul Mohammed from India, who was 22.5 inches.


"Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives and when I look into Chandra's eyes, I can see he's a good man," said Chandra, per the U.K.'s Telegraph.

"It's been a lifelong dream to travel and becoming a Guinness World Records title holder has enabled me to do that. I'm honored to be in London, I've always wanted to visit and the fact I get to meet Sultan is special," he added. "It makes me extremely proud to represent Nepal all around the world, I'm extremely humbled by the support I receive."

These two aren't the only ones making history today, which just so happens to be the 60th anniversary of Guinness World Records celebrations.

A group of people at China's Shangri La Hotel will be attempting the beat the record for Most People Eating Breakfast in Bed (current number to beat is 289 people), and at London's Tower Bridge, a group of people are trying to set a new record for Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Penguins (number to beat: 325 participants).Source : E Online

UK jails two Nigerians for money laundering, trafficking

A United Kingdom court has sentenced two Nigerians for human trafficking, sexual exploitation and money laundering offences.

A statement from the Office of the British High Commission in Abuja said they were jailed for eight and two years respectively, following a Home Office investigation into the trafficking of Nigerian women into the UK for sexual exploitation.

Lizzy Idahosa, 24, was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on November 7, after being found guilty last month of trafficking women to and around the UK, inciting prostitution and money laundering.

Her partner, Jackson Omoruyi, 41, was also jailed after the jury had found him guilty of two money laundering offences.

According to the statement by the Head of Communications, British High Commission, Edward Dunn, the investigation began after Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers carried out an operation at the Ambassador Suite Massage Parlour, on City Road, Cardiff, in June 2013.

A Nigerian woman found there told officers she had been trafficked into the UK several years previously by Idahosa and since then had been working in the sex industry

Amazing News : Nearly 18 Years, Tupac Shakur Now 43, Comes Out Of Hiding!

This is an amazing news and event as Tupac Shakur who was supposedly killed at the age of 25 is now admitting he has been hiding this whole time.

It was Shakur who in 1996 was reportedly attending a special event in Las Vegas, the Mike Tyson-Benson fight, and then afterwards was brutally murdered. A day or so later he is autopsied, then quickly cremated. There is no funeral.
