Dubai: Janet Jackson seems to be settling into her new role as a dutiful Qatari wife. The pop star was spotted in Dubai on Thursday shopping for abayas at Village Mall along the Jumeirah Beach Road.
According to Gulf News reader Pylene, Jackson, who married Qatari business tycoon Wissam Al Mana last year, walked into abaya boutique Toushih at around four in the afternoon. “She was talking to the shop attendants and picking some of the clothes. She had a companion, another woman, who was dressed in an abaya.”

Ex-Militant, Tompolo Acquires Private Jet
According to aviation sources, the jet costs a whopping sum of $13.3 million (N2.12 billion).
Chief Tompolo was one of the arrow heads of militancy in Nigeria before they were granted amnesty by the government of President Goodluck Jonathan.
He was recently awarded a mouth watering multi-billion Naira contract to police all oil pipelines within the Niger Delta from vandalization.

Man Found Alive After 4 Months Freezing in the Mountains
Raul Fernando Gomez Circunegui reportedly got lost in May. He was trying to cross the mountains from Chile to Argentina on foot because his motorcycle broke down.
Argentine officials from the northwestern province of San Juan stumbled upon Gomez in a shelter 2,840 metres above sea level when they traveled there to record snow levels.
"The truth is that this is a miracle. We still can't believe it," San Juan Governor Jose Luis Gioja said.
"We let him talk to his wife, his mother and his daughter. I asked him: 'Are you a believer?' He told me, 'no, but now I am.'"
Sugar, raisins, rats and the shelter's leftover supplies kept Gomez alive through the Southern Hemisphere's winter.
He lost 20 kilos during the ordeal and is dehydrated. He is receiving medical attention, according to media reports.
A doctor who examined Gomez was surprised by the man's resilience. "He's a patient with high blood pressure, a history of smoking and signs of undernourishment," the doctor was quoted as saying.
But "he's going to be fine and in a few days we're going to discharge him." In 1972, a plane carrying an Uruguayan rugby team to Chile crashed in the Andes.
Some of the survivors sustained themselves by eating dead bodies.

Ani who is set to premier her first movie titled 'The Squeezed' is also the CEO of Effixzzy International Magazine claims sexual harassment is a two sided thing in Nollywood.
According to Ani Amatosero most of the actresses do pester movie producers with s*x in order to secure movie roles.
The actress in her own words:
“Sexual harassment is not a new thing to any grown girl. It’s not just in the movie industry but it’s also in the banking industry, the private sector generally and even in our universities. I am wondering why that of Nollywood is always a big deal to people. Some times some girls harass men though.
And the reason is that some desperate girls who think Nollywood is all about sex come into Nollywood with the mindset of sleeping their way to the top and so they harass the men. But it’s not always like that. There are some producers and directors who believe in what you can do and how to help you improve on your acting skills and not for what is under your skirt. It’s so sad that people now see actresses like girls who must sleep their way to get to the top.
The desperate ones are the ones who fall into such traps. They come into Nollywood and they don’t want to grow. They want to fly to the level of Genevieve and Omotola overnight and earn what they earn forgetting the fact that they grew gradually into what they have become today. Growth is a gradual process.”

Actress, Genevieve Nnaji Aquires N220m Mansion In Lagos
According to sources the actress just recently paid off a N220million mansion in Park View Estate in Ikoyi Lagos State.
To avoid the media exposure, a source says the actress has decided to keep mum on the deal until she completes the renovation of the newly-purchased house.
