Two young men allegedly shot dead by Nigerian soldiers during protest in Bokkos, Plateau State
Six people were shot dead by men of the Nigerian Army in Bokkos while protesting the attack on
“Danan and Tasha Makarfi” villages by suspected Fulani herdsmen yesterday night.

assailants had stormed the villages to carry out attacks days after the
traditional ruler of Bokkos and his family members were killed by

Angry youth, earlier today barricaded all major
roads leading to the area in protest against the attack. Soldiers
serving with the Special Task Force in Jos opened fire on the
protesters, killing six, and leaving many others with varying degree of
injuries.
