Abductors of Lagos monarch demands N500m ransom

The family of the abducted monarch of Iba town in Lagos, Yushau Oseni, on Friday said the kidnappers have demanded a N500 million ransom.

One of the king’s daughters, Mrs Ramota Oseni,‎ told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the abductors contacted the family on 20.

The 74-year -old traditional ruler was abducted at his Iba palace ‎on July 16.
The daughter, who was a former chairperson of Iba Local Government Area, said the family refused to make the abductors’ demand public for security reasons.
