Victim of domestic violence, Ronke Shonde may be buried today as Police to arraign husband for murder today

There are indications that Ronke Shonde, the mother of two who was allegedly killed by her husband, Lekan Shonde at their home in Egbeda, Lagos state on May 6th, may be buried today. According to her family, the burial ceremony will be attended only by her family and friends.

Ronke's body was released to the family on Wednesday after the autopsy result was released.

Meanwhile the police will today arraign her 50 year old husband for murder at the Ebutte Metta magistrate court.

There are indications that Ronke's family may not be interested in pursuing any case against Lekan as the mother of late Ronke says she has forgiven him and does not want any further discussion on the matter. According to a family source, the mother says she has left everything in the hands of God.
