Outrage as anaesthesia machine gets stolen in hospital a day after installment

The machine worth nearly $40,000 was stolen on Wednesday night, one day after it had been installed in the newly constructed maternity theatre ward according to the Medical superintendent at the Chuka Level Five Hospital.

Workers have recorded statements with the police, with the County Health Chief Officer Walter Mugambi suspecting the theft to have been done by a hospital employee or in connivance with one reports the Nation.
