Ese Oruru, The Teenager Abducted And Impregnated By Yunusa Set To Deliver
Ese Oruru grabbed national headlines when it became apparent that she
was abducted to Kano for six months by a certain Yunusa Dahiri from her
home in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Yunusa, a commercial tricycle operator, had claimed that they were lovers and that they collectively decided to elope from Bayelsa to Kano. Ese, now reunited with her family, is reported to be in the third trimester (40 weeks) of her pregnancy.
According to Vanguard, Ese is due to deliver anytime from now. The report further states that Ese resides at the Police Officers’ Mess, not too far from the Federal Medical Centre and the headquarters of the Bayelsa State Police Command in the Ovom suburb of the state capital.
A source was quoted to have said, “Ese has been living a reticent life since she returned because the police barred her classmates and friends from her.” “Only her parents and siblings are allowed to visit her, but that in a way has assisted in her recovery.
Ese, from Uwheru, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State has not been staying with her parents since her liberation.” The report added that only her parents, siblings and medical team are authorised to visit her at the Police Officers’ Mess.
