Two Persons, Who Vandalizes Cables In Enugu State Has Been Electrocuted
Two persons, that specialize in vandalizing installations of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) have been electrocuted.
It was gathered that Francis Ezeugwu and his accomplice, whose identity could not be established as at press time were short-circuited on top of EEDC pole at Okpunnoegbu Ekulu Nnewinand Agulu town.
Also, a young man of about 25 years of age is currently hospitalized in Anambra State for burns he sustained while attempting to vandalize the EEDC’s 2.5 MVA transformer, which serves customers within Nnewi town.

Mr Eugene Aniowo, the EEDC’s Public Affairs Manager, who disclosed this in Enugu on Sunday, said the incidents have been reported to the Police, even as he lamented incessant vandalism of EEDc’s installations in various parts of South east.
