President Buhari is so secretive about his ministerial list

President Muhammadu Buhari, is keeping mum about the composition of his ministerial nominees.
According to Punch Newspapers, Buhari is not keen on sharing details of the list, even with the state
governors, whom he held a meeting with at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday, June 23.


A governor who spoke anonymously to Punch revealed that one of his colleagues raised the issue at the meeting.

He said the governor had asked the Buhari about the ministerial list and when the names would be sent to the Senate for screening.

Buhari was said to have refused to answer the governor’s question, which indicated that he didn’t want to be drawn into a discussion on the matter.


The governor was quoted to have said: “During the meeting today, a governor asked the President what is delaying the list of his ministerial list. The President did not answer that question. That, to me, means that he is keeping details to his chest.”
