German Donates Life Savings To Build Medical Centre In Ondo, Declines Taking Photographs
A German, Mrs Johannah Schleichelt has donated her life savings to build a 25 bed hospital in Iworin, Oka Akoko area of Ondo State. Mrs Johannah a German-American Catholic faithful, joined the rest of her colleagues -Catholic members and the people of Iworin who came out in their hundreds to commission the newly built hospital few days ago.
Johannah who said she lived a moderate life to be able to save in order to realize her life dream of meeting the health challenges of people in any remote area in Africa, says she is happy her dreams have finally come true. She however refused to take pictures, saying it is not about self praises, but she wants to be remembered for good by those who are sick and brought in for treatments.
