Desmond Elliot lost his friend Muiz Bello who was an APC Chairmanship aspirant. He died after the boat conveying him to a polling unit to cast his vote capsized,Muiz Bello was in the boat with his wife and the director of the Lagos state Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Olakunle Adewalewere in the boat that capsized, leaving Bello, Adewale and others dead.
