Late Pa Ayefele, fondly called Baba Teacher, died on Sunday, Ocotber 12 in the midst of his 76th birthday celebration.
Netng reports that the gospel musician, took to his Blackberry’s personal Message and display picture space to announce sadly the death of his father, High Chief Joshua Taiwo Ayefele, who was an Ekiti chief before the unfortunate death.
It was reported that the late Pa Ayefele, fondly called Baba Teacher before his death, died on Sunday, 12th of October during his 76th birthday celebration.
Yinka Ayefele, who is the most prominent child of the late man, uploaded his late father’s picture on his Blackberry, with the caption: ‘My Dad is Gone, High Chief J.T Ayefele. Baami, *tears*’.
The late Ekiti chief had requested for an elaborate birthday party, days ahead of his birthday, which surprised his children who knew who their dad’s. The man was said to be healthy with no sickness before his demise.
Describing the sad incident, Ayefele said: ‘I was there with him at Ipoti Ekiti to celebrate with him, he even saw me off when I was leaving and I left but was surprised to hear few minutes after I left of his demise.’
The late Pa Ayefele had earlier held a birthday thanksgiving service at the Anglican Church, Ipoti Ekiti. Born in 1938, the late Joshua Ayefele was an educationist and community leader in his native Ipoti Ekiti until his demise yesterday.
