Daughter Of Australian Labor Great Charged With Murder

The daughter of long-serving former Australian state premier Neville Wran was today charged with murder over the stabbing to death of an alleged small-time drug dealer in Sydney.

Harriet Wran, 26 and two other men are accused of taking part in the fatal stabbing of a man at a public housing complex which took place on Sunday during a drug deal.

Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported that Ms Wran and the two men face charges of murder, breaking and entering.

Sadly, both the police and her lawyer confirmed to reporters that she was involved in a drug deal at the time of the incident. Wran was last seen in public at her father's burial in May.
