PHOTOS: When Our Female Celebrities Do Not Dress Well

We all love our celebrities, but sometimes, their fashion sense could be a bit off.

The celeb is talented, smart, beautiful, but when it comes to picking her outfit, it becomes a case of Right Girl, Wrong Dress.

Examples below;
Omotola - MBGN Dress
Omosexy was her usual confident self in that controversial zebra inspired dress she wore to be a judge at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Pageant last week, where she was a judge and an award winner, but she could have fooled us.

She looked divine from neck up and her little anti-child marriage speech was sleek, opportune and clever; but the extensive outfit made her look as though she had something to hide.
A quick look under the dress reveals that indeed, she does. Unfortunately the stripes on the outfit played up her newly acquired weight far more than it hid, making her gigantic hip area reminiscent of a whale’s. Definitely the worst, most unflattering dress Omotola has ever worn in public. Her stylists, take note.
Mo Abudu ( TV launch outfit)

Usually the very epitome of style, not a few people wondered what went wrong with the outfit of self-styled media mogul Mo Abudu at the Lagos launch of her EbonyLife TV. While we are busy wondering, Mo had better get her hands on all the photos and get them burned so we can all put the flash-in-the-pan episode behind us. The expensive looking green  trouser outfit looked like pyjamas done in lace and exactly  whose idea were the pants in the first place?
Kenny Saint Brown (Miss Nigeria)
photo
This ageless true diva has admitted to crying alone since the separation from heartthrob Eddy Remedy, but that is no excuse for turning up flat and frumpy to the Miss Nigeria finale this month. The hair is totally out of sync, not to mention a  tad tatty, and though the look has been picked by some sites as one of the best of that evening,  here it simply makes the distinction of  being the sorriest: the dress is too long, it does not flatter her juicy body, the colour is all wrong  (Big girls, dark colours, remember?) and please don’t even mention the neckwear…
Ruki Sanda (movie premiere)

Rosy Ruki Sanda definitely  crossed the line between trashy and classy with the ill fitting black (or is it grey/silver) sequined dress she wore to the Lagos  premiere of the Yvonne Nelson produced movie House of Gold. Bringing her girls our to play was not the issue. Harassing us with the threat of seeing evil with the centre not holding was the problem. Very ugly, very un-Ruki dress too!
